EliteFTS
I like to think of EliteFTS as a more mature and levelheaded blog in comparison to T-Nation. Bayesian Bodybuilding
Bayesian Bodybuilding is one of the first scientfic/no-BS fitness blogs I ever checked out. Their article on how much protein we actually need for optimal muscle building was an eye opener to the wide spread myth of needing excess protein. The work to debunk a lot of the myths floating around in the fitness world (HINT: it’s impossible to get them all when more are being formed each day). Check out this resource for a level-headed, open minded, and scientific approach to fitness and bodybuilding more specifically.

Breaking Muscle
I feel like including Breaking Muscle in a fitness blog top list is like beating a dead horse for a year straight, but they’re still pumping out quality informational articles from a host of guest bloggers and show no plans of stopping. With a focus on functional movement, exercise nutrition, powerlifting, CrossFit, and gymnastics this resource is an amazing one for the fitness enthusiast. If you’re into their material so much, you could even drop them a line and get an article of your own featured on their blog. They even run a unique podcast every Wednesday that’s worth checking out as well.
Best Fitness Blogs Conclusion
With so many available, and everyone having different interests, approaches, and goals it’s going to be near impossible to tag one blog as truly the “best fitness blog”. Especially in 2016 when fitness involves nutrition, exercise, powerlifting, olympic lifting, CrossFit, and every form of athletics in between. I think the best way to come at fitness blogs is to take a few that you connect with and follow them regularly. Find one that matches your lifting style, that focuses on performance for your sport, and one nutritional blog that supports the former and you’ll be set.
Be sure to share this list!
